This Rolls Royce was brought to us in need of a full restoration. It had been living its whole life in England and was recently imported. Sadly, due to the salt on England's roads, the car was very rusty. So much so that the chassis rails had exploded between them with rust.
This car has been completely stripped down to a bare chassis and a wooden skeleton. The chassis rails have had all rivets removed and all parts disassembled for us to fix the rust issues. All the rusted areas have been repaired and new sections made. New outriggers for the body had to be made as well as new cross member sections. The chassis had to have a jog made to support it while in pieces, so it would go back together the same way. This rebuild has been as major as you can get!
The chassis is now back together in the jig, and ready for the next stage.
As we progress with the restoration of this car, we will upload photos and updates for you.
