- Road test, check for abnormal noises and faults and report on any faults to customer.
- Complete brake performance test, alignment check and suspension check.
- Engine oil flush.
- Test headlights, front indicators, brake lights, tail lights and rear indicators.
- Check front & rear wiper blades & water jet aim.
- Lubricate door locks and hinges.
- Check spare wheel pressure.
- Inspect engine air filter and cabin air filter.
- Test coolant condition and level.
- Test battery quality.
- Check visible drive belts.
- Remove spark plugs and check (if required).
- Drain and replace engine oil and filter.
- Inspect disc brake linings where possible.
- Tyres and tyre pressures.
- Complete visual inspection of underbody including exhaust, steering and suspension.
- Check CV boots and steering rack boots.
- Clean and adjust rear brakes (if required).
- Inspect and top up of all fluids such as battery, coolant, power steering, gearbox/transmission/transaxle oil, windscreen wash system and brake fluid.
- Full diagnostic check. Reset service reminder.
